Duck Pond - Get Quackin'

This duck pond is two handmade cement leaves that JoyMaster Nancy made with imprints of Elephant Ear leaves. This is a cute and unique way to create a water element. It does not hold water permanently, the water seeps throuogh. It’s nice because it does not get an algae coat, so no cleaning is necessary. There are green stones in the water to create a calming reflection, along with a gaggle of geese, a chair and a fishing pole. JoyMaster Lisa’s gramps always fed the ducks, so we made a replica of the Duck Crossing sign he had in his yard.

Animals Around Your Pond

Here are some more animal ideas for around your pond. Remember they can naturally be by the pond, or just animals you love. Anything you can imagine can come to your pond.

1Natural Visitors: Think about dear, bear, birds, turtles, ducks and skunks

2 Not From Around Here Visitors: Think of animals you love, but seem out of place: a panda bear, alligator or a tiger

3 Fictional Visitors: Maybe Iron Man, Godzilla, a martian or your favorite TV character wants to visit the pond
