Belize Magic Gardens

This un-belize-able Magic Garden celebrates the ocean featuring treasures from a wedding trip to Belize. The conch shell was found by the bride while diving and given to JoyMaster Lisa. By adding a bake-able clay door, the shell became the centerpiece of this garden as an adorable Belize Magic Garden house.

There were geckos everywhere in Belize and in this garden, too. You can add signage or any other element to celebrate a specific place. We planted this Magic Garden in a large cement planter and is, at eye level, for kids to add a pirate ship or any other fun water-themed element.

How To Make the Conch House

Here is how to make a conch shell into a garden house. You need a shell, bakeable Clay and some glue (monster or hot glue). And just like that your souvenir shell become a Belize Magic Garden house.

Hard bristle brush to clean the conch sell

Clean the Shell: Soak the shell in water then scrub with a stiff brisle brush to get rid of any caked sand, and then polish with mineral oil.

Make the Door: Cut and decorate a door out of bakeable clay, press into place slightly so it fits the spot perfectly and bake.
